I did not experience that yet but still searching on internet to discover "how to buy a car" what I need except than money and also what is the procedures.
First of all everybody is advising the web page "www.autodiler.me" for that. They have plenty different types second hand car and also different vessels like truck, motorbike, boat, etc. which fits with all budgets. Most probably also I will go on with this site to find a car for me; for us.
With me; my preference was a small economy group car; a hatchback but as mentioned thousand of times, since March 2018 I am a mother of two sweet hearts hence I have to think my kids / cats and their comfort. Therefore, most probably I will buy a semi-cargo vehicle like Kangoo, Doblo, Caddy, etc which also gives us permission to out our camping equipment and sleep in the car if needed. Then we can discover the wild beauty side of Montenegro together and share our experiences here to be a guide at the same time.
Based on searches on web, forums and blogs, I understood as; you have to chose your car , make the deal and sale contract, then take the car to the registration and checking. With me; I prefer to show the car to a specialist to see if is there any problem or not. With a second hand car; there is always a risk to meet with surprises. Maybe it is not possible to avoid but at least you can reduce it...
Still could not find a clear information for the annual expenses of owning a car such as insurance, periodic control, tax. Some of the sources are saying that the registration fee is including them all and you have to renew the registration every year. If the fee is including them all; that will be great for us. First of all the car get well maintenance every year which mostly get ignored by the owners.
Another given information is; the car agencies are able to make inspection, insurance and registration. Will be able to give the correct information after we move to there. Still searching for to learn new things; OMG, I feel as so ignorant when I see the whole the world of knowledge...
If someone knows the steps of buying a car at Montenegro and inform me accordingly would be great.
