Gardening tips

 Good afternoon from a windy day 

I grew in a house with garden; similar what I have today but much more beautiful. Due to sickness of our father, found chance to live with him approximately 7-8 years in total. One day, he planted strawberries to the garden and told that to us he is going to have the seeds hence we mustn't touch them. Come on; I was 8 something like that and that strawberries were calling for me; how can I resist? 

But on other hand daddy was so serious when he said that "do not touch". OK; never underestimate the brain of a child; especially when the issue is food. I lied down on the ground and eat half of the strawberries, all of them. Did not pick, one bite from each, that is all. Daddy thought that snails eaten them; he never learn that the snail was me...

Not against to me but if you have any snail problem on your garden, you can round them with salt even with coffee ground. Snails hate from both and mostly stay away.

These lovely plants actually not lovely that much. Known as broomrapes and as you see; the plants do not have leafs which means can not make fotosentez or create anything. Like a vampire, provide these requirements from other plants and kill them at the end. You can think as they are an underground parasite and when you see them you have to take them out immediately to protect your garden.

Another dangerous member on the gardens are snakes. Blavor (know as legless lizard) mostly mixed with snakes. When you see round and thick neck, you can take a breath. Venomous snakes mostly have a triangle shaped head and neck is thinner than the head. One of my nephew who follow the blog scares of a bit hence will not put photos of snakes for next 3 months 👶

To avoid problems you can make lines with sulphur powder. Snakes do not have eyelid hence sulphur burn their eyes and keep them away. 

Small fly are the biggest problem with roses. I mix one litre water, two table spoon white vinegar and one tea spoon liquid soap and spray to the leafs. 

Also for wild herbs using one litre water, plus shalf glass of white vinegar and half coffee cup bleach and  mix them. Then spray to the are where you want to clean. 

Haylaz is still stressed with his fight with mother cat. 

As usual Benek is quite supportive to her brother and comforting him.
