As usual, always and forever continue to recycle materials which is so good for nature and my pocket!
Before I make the chimney, were using metal pipes for smoke. Mostly they got rotten and damaged due to freezing north wind which means should be garbage for normal people; for me there is always a place to evaluate.
Normally made this BBQ last year with a scrap air channel I found in the storage.
It was not easy to cut galvanised metal by hand with metal scissor but of course was not impossible 💪🏽
And now, almost finished the BBQ stand for that;
The corner of the wall on this edge was broken. Perfect place to built the stand also repair the wall.
Filled inside with broken tiles to stabilize the positions, then filled with concrete. Also made a base/stand and filled with concrete to connect them all. Next step is cover the pipes with concrete.
Step by step to the goal.

I was planning to use the inside of the U as wood storage for BBQ but one of my nephew; Cagla gave an idea to evaluate that place as tandir. Made a concrete stand inside and today will cover with samot mortar which will increase the strength to the heat. Also planning to make a metal door with trapeze plate.
