Evaluating rain

Good morning from a rainy day,

The meteorology is saying that we will have more and more rain for next week. Hopefully no rain on Tuesday as seem then I can take the car for tyre replacement. Normally the mandatory period of winter tyre usage starts on 1st November. I just wish to keep them ready if borders don't get closed and we can go and back with car.

Last week lost one more seedlings; the roots of a sour cherry eaten by larvas; this year lost a peach, lemon an sour cherry trees cause of them.

Could not find the required chemical here to fight with these monsters. They are really dangerous and have to handled immediately. Within the worst case planning to buy from Turkey but not sure if I have problem at custom or not to bring that a pack of insecticide fir this larva.

Rain is in the air since days, as wrote before so good after all fires and dry summer; mother nature is refreshing herself.

If you are interested in with nature; most probably you already know that rain has the perfect PH level for nature but also prepare fertilizers. I do my best to use the natural ones such as organic waste, dead nettle, ash, etc. Rain is the best one to prepare these organic fertilizers. And even to grow baby plants such as roses.

As shared previously; by and between September to March are the best timing to grow roses from branches. Due to hot wave coming from fires, lost four roses from garden; 4 out, 10 in then 😉

A small reminder; if you are growing roses from branches; do not forget to seal top to avoid lose of humidity. Also better to keep them warm especially if you are living somewhere which has colder nights.

Take care and stay safe,

We
