Another very early started day. This time Haylaz is innocent. Wake up often to check puppy, replace hot water, clean the floor...
Kittens and puppies can not balance own body temperature more less for first 2-3 months of their lives. This can be longer or more difficult at Montenegro due to climate and mostly minus temperatures during the winter. The best solution is to keep them with mother as long as you can. If you find a puppy or kitten without a mother; then you have to handle this duty.
If you have hot water pads; could be better. I use this bottles; wrap with textile and stretch over it. This protect babies from burns. Even I grew my cat kids with this bottles to keep them warm all the time.
Could not save the kitten and baby girl but baby boy is making a good progress. His fur, how power and even his eyes are getting better day by day. Spoken with a Germany based organisation to find a house for him and hopefully in January or February they will come to pick him up. Until that date, I will do my best to keep him well maintained, feed, warmed and trained for toilet (if I can).
As you can imagine, Benek and Haylaz are not happy from this situation and unexpected guest. They do the best to stay stick with me more than usual. Even Haylaz entered to the bathroom yesterday morning and you can not imagine the house and our situation!
