Mostar; don't forget!

 Good evening from busy days,

I am not sure if I am becoming lazy or really busy and tired. A lot thing have to be finished before winter.

As shared on vlog, escaped to Mostar for a day break which was really needed to relax my mind a bit.

When you enter to Bosnia via land, this signs will welcome to you;

Next door neighbour explained the difference by and between Serbia and Republic of Srpska.

More information is available at wikipekia;

Around the bridge, saw this note several times. A small reminder for tomorrow for all struggling for freedom of Bosnia i Hercegovina.

Original brigde built by Architect Hayreddin on 1566 and was used until 1993 get destroyed by Croatia during the war between Bosnia i Hercegovina and Croatia. Then built with a consortium and registered as UNESCO World Heritage on 2005.

I apologise from Bosnian people if I hurt them but for me Mostar means Alija Izzetbegović and all partisans of Bosnia who fight for freedom.

You can visit War Museum to see the real face and shame of humanity during this war which happened less than 30 years before.

After all these years, still possible to see the internal damages of people with damages on buildings...

Like Phoenix; the city bornt from it's ashes; more better, more beautiful and more stronger. Most probably they put the note "Don't forget" just as a reminder.

I can write much more about Mostar but prefer that you visit this amazing city personally to add your memories.

Take care and stay safe,
We
