Reproduction of seedlings

 Good morning from rainy days,

If you are interested in with gardening; most probably you know that the period by and between January to March is for pruning the trees. Such a big tragedy for me; mostly people throw or burn those branches which can be evaluated to plant, to gift even to sell.

On Sunday went to  prune the garden of a friend in Podgorica. And took some of the branches to grow. Even someone cut and put lots of ivy next to the bin and yes; I took a few from them too.

When I was dreaming about Zelcestan; sustainability was on the top of the list what I wish for here. I grow almost all of them especially roses.

The formula is almost the same for all; cut them with the size of a pencil; trim the surface of bottom and seal the top.

Normally in Turkiye we are using type of wax as a sealer but couldn't find it here. I bought but forgot in Istanbul with a few more packs, now looking for someone who can bring them to me. Here, jn Montenegro and Bosnia, found a sealer like latex/rubber. Bought and used that but recognised that this is a mistake. That material caused a lot fungus like this.

To be able to seal them to protect from loss of humidity and also protect from insects, used expired antibiotics and candles. Much more than that material for plants!

Another important points while growing from branches; mostly people think that when the branches have the leafs, it OK. Nope, you can see leafs in a few weeks time; but roots will take approximately 60-90 days. So, you have to have patience!

I am planning to sell some of them to create a budget for cats. More than welcome in Autumn of you need any for your garden or balcony.

Take care,

We
