Good afternoon from rainy days,
Meteorology is saying that next couple of days also will be rainy. The timing of the rain is quite bad. All trees and plants have flowers. Also rain will effect to the bees too. (No bee = no pollination = no fruit&vegetable)
This April is really hard for gardens. We had wind storms, minus temperatures which burnt new sprouts of the trees and now strong rains....
Using a rain water collection at home. Bought one 500 and one 230 liters of baskets and connected hoses to the gutters. Both filled completely in one night. Then you can compare how much rain we had and estimated effects to the flowers.
A sample of frost damage in a mulberry sprout. Whole trees have this frost burns on sprouts. Even roses had the same damage too. It is painful but on other hand J can't change anything or struggle with mother nature.
Will evaluate these days to graft trees, plant seeds of April, drawing the plans for new greenhouse and stands for garden. Work goes on...
