12 months duty; gardening

 Good evening from ultra hot days,

As you know, I bornt and lived on the Mediterranean part of Turkiye; last 15 years was in Antalya, so close to Konyaalti beaches. 

When I was moving to Montenegro, gave away a big part of my summer clothes because of I am moving to Balkans, always will be so cold, no need for that much summer clothes, etc. Especially last two summers; had a lot regrets for that! Feel as it is getting more warmer than Mediterranean! 

Still, works always go on. Size doesn't matter; when you have a house with garden; you have to be ready to work all the time. Planting, weeds, fertilising, cutting, seeds, pruning,... Show must go on! 

As mentioned several times; some flowers shouldn't be used for vases for me. Such as Dahlia, morning glory, sunflower, marigold... All these flowers and may others are like a seed banks. 

Last year, one of the sunflower grew by its own on garden path and it was so lovely hence decided to plant this year and the road turned to a fest! 

On our first spring, when I planted them; they didn't grow more than 50 cm. But today I have mostly 250 even 300 cm high sunflowers on the garden. 

They are not only for decoratio; also so good for nature and one of the favori flower of the bees. 

This variety of sunflowers not to eat; unless you have a lot time and patience!

And as you see; a flower is creating hundreds of seeds for sustainability of nature. Therefore, sunflowers and a few more flowers are not for vases; for garden and for nature. Try to gift potted flowers or even seeds for future of the nature.
