Winter preparations in Balkans

Hello from autumn,

Day by day winter is getting closer. This will be our fifth winter here, in Montenegro. Remember our first winter. As you remember came from Antalya, Turkiye at the end of December but in Antalya December or winter make no sense; especially as much as Balkans! When we add wind, electricity shortages, difficulties to put fire on with wood stove in addition of cold and minus temperatures; it was a real challenge! 

When you live in a house with a garden (size doesn't matter, trust me); works continue foe 12 months. Maintenance chimney, buy wood, prepare stove, buy kindling, etc are main terms for winter. In addition of this prepare pickles (I am a pickle monster), prepare pepper sauce for cooking, make liquors for cold winter nights, etc for food preparations. 

There is pepper sauce for cooking in Montenegro. So, just do it 😉

And did it. For next 20 days (if not enough sun up to 30 days) will stay under the sun day time and will be mixed minimum 3 times a day with a wooden spoon until get ready. 

And as usual he doesn't like to see me busy with something else except than him 😏
