Four season duty; gardening

 Good morning from a windy and rainy day,

Rain brought warmer temperatures to the village which is a relief for me and for baby plants of course. 

Lots if people think that; gardening and garden duties are limited with spring and summer. This is totally wrong. Gardening is equal to a 12 months jobs. Each month, each season has own plants and duties to do. 

More less the period between October to April is so good to trees your plants to the soil. This winter added quince, another santa maria pear, another almond and nectarine to our garden. Also many rare colour roses. 

Extraordinary cold temperature what we had last week damaged many baby plants inside of the greenhouse but still have some on hand. This period also so good prune a big part of the plants and grow them as you wish. 

Possible to grow rose, hrizanteme, hydrangea, grape, mulberry, fig and many other plants with the same method.

Completed pruning a big part of the grapes also cleaned bamboos on my next door neighbour's garden. When the weather is OK, will continue to prune grapes. 

Only these grapes left to prune. While next door neighbour is not here; I take care of with plants and use the fruits to make jam or rakija. Such a delicious win-win agreement 🥂

Little boss Ms Angry Bird checked and approved the job done on the garden. (Or she didn't like when I gave a break 🙄)

To have wind or rain or cold doesn't mean to sit and do nothing. Will start to build the gate of the small greenhouse inside of the big greenhouse (lets say big for our garden; it is only 18 sqm) which was planned to grow seeds and branches. Little gardening devil is pushing me to plant all seeds now but I have to resist and first prepare a better place for seeds. 

So, gardening is a duty of 12 months 😉
