My male cat kid Haylaz was so sick for days; he had infusion for 6 days, two times bladder wash and urinary catheter for days due to an urinary system problem; he was peeing blood. Didn't feel myself desperate this much. Still has difficulties to fee but at least no blood. Hopefully will get better soon 🙏🏼❤
When I dropped him to the doctor, went to platelet donation appointment. As mentioned before, they collect plated upon demands hence works with appointment. Also platelet has only 5 days after collection therefore can't be stored. (For blood it is 30 days)
I have no single idea how many times I donated blood, platelet and granulocyte; but still, I can't look at when they put in or take out the needle. I am scared but this can't be an excuse to help to the one who needs blood or blood products.
Platelet donation takes a bit longer; approximately 50 minutes and process is different. Basically there is a machine takes your blood, separate platelet and gives back your blood. I have a video but couldn't upload here. If you want, you can have a look that on Zelcestan YouTube channel reels.

I moved to Montenegro at the end of 2019, discovered the right place on July 2020 and since then it is been 7 blood and 15 platelet donation. Hope to donate much more 🙏🏼
If you are between 18-60, match the criteria of donation; please do that, be a donor wherever you are. In Montenegro "Zavod za Transfuziju Krvi Crna Gora " (Blood Bank of Montenegro) is authorized government office for collection. They are incredibly friendly also have many English speaking people.
Please don't forget; human is the only source for blood...
