A different egg

 Hello from a working day,

As shared before, due to different calendars, religious dates get celebrated double in Montenegro; such as Easter. Orthodox Easter will be tomorrow.

If you are following our journey and blogs; most probably you know that I am the first and only female platelet donor of Montenegro. To motivate others to be a platelet donor; drawing numbers for each donation. Due to importance of the days, I made a colorfull egg this time ❤

In Montenegro, they started to collect platelet two years ago. Possible to store blood up to 30 days but platelet has only five days for maximum storing therefore they work with appointment. 

And yesterday was the donation day for 16th platelet donation. Since 4,5 years I live gere and already donated 7 times blood, 16 times platelet. 

A great job comes from a great team; Doctor Marina Sekulić is taking care of with platelet part of the blood bank with the team. While she is away; Doctor Adriana Đurišić is taking care of. 

Once more; if you match the conditions of being a donor for blood or platelet; please be a donor. You never know when you or one of your beloved one could need it. 

Zavod za Transfuziju Krvi Crna Gora  is the authorised organisation to collect blood and platelet in Montenegro. They collect blood in their branches and even during campaigns on municipalities etc but for platelet; on Podgorica head office.
